FAQs

Who arranges flights?

All Ski Sarajevo guests need to arrange their own flights - this is due to the fact that our guests fly in from all over the world (mostly UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Germany, Dubai and Turkey). However, our knowledgeable staff at our Bristol office (UK) are always available by phone, email or social media to help you with tips and advice. A good place to start is our Getting There page, as new, more affordable flight routes are coming into Bosnia-Herzegovina every year!

I want to book the 7-night trip from Sarajevo airport. How does the transfer work?

Simply send your exact flight details to our Ski Sarajevo staff by email. Our Ski Sarajevo Representative will meet you in Arrivals at Sarajevo airport and will be holding a SKI SARAJEVO sign. Transfer to the mountain takes 45 mins.

I want to book the 7-night trip from Tuzla airport. How does the transfer work?

Again, simply send your exact flight details to our Ski Sarajevo staff by email. Our Ski Sarajevo Representative will meet you in Arrivals at Tuzla airport and will be holding a SKI SARAJEVO sign. Important: the Tuzla transfer is much longer than the Sarajevo airport transfer - 2.5 hrs to Sarajevo City. This means that our Tuzla Airport guests usually stay the first night in Sarajevo city centre before travelling to the mountain (45 mins) the next day. Tuzla Airport transfers incur a supplement (usually £25 GBP per person, return).

What is the deal with accommodation?

Accommodation in our Gold Chalet Apartments is in either 1 or 3-bedroom apartments. Accommodation in our Silver Hotel is based on triple or quad share rooms (all en-suite) but you can pay a private room supplement of £5 per person per night for doubles/twins or £10 per person a night for singles – let us know in advance if you prefer this.

Accommodation at our Bronze Lodge is hostel-style, with shared bathrooms. We also have wonderful stand-alone chalets for self-catering or half-board groups.

What meals are included?

Breakfast and dinner is included at the Gold Apartments and Silver Hotel - usually buffet style. The Bronze Lodge has breakfast included, although dinners can be arranged (£5 per person per day). The stand-alone chalets can be half-board or self-catering.

What time do the ski lifts open and close?

The ski lifts open at 9am and the last lift goes up the mountain at around 4pm.

How much is it to hire skis/snowboards?

Ski/Snowboard Rental is 11 Euros per day.

Can I hire ski clothing?

No, you will need to bring your own ski clothing.

Are helmets and goggles included?

No. Helmets can be hired (about 3 Euros per day) and goggles can be bought locally.

Can I bring my own skis and equipment?

Yes.
